oh yes! i've totally heard of them and listened to their music. from what i can remember i think i liked it. i just dunno what they look like well enough to know that this was them.
Alright so... I kinda learned from you that their new cd was out! I downloaded it, listened to it on the bus, ran to hmv before work, bought it. I still haven't gone all the way through it, but my gooood! It's so different, softer, but it doesn't feel as though they lost their edge. It's almost comforting in a way. Listening to scarlet fields with the wind blowing in your face is the best feeling ever.
I'm now alterning between asian pop (more like the same song on repeat since tuesday) and the horrors; it makes me incredibly amused! I feel so eclectic
Scarlet fields is totally my favourite too. i love love love the video for Sea within a sea though. i agree with them having changed but the essence of the Horrors sill remaining. I'm really glad. that is quite eclectic! ahha! i've just started listening to Portishead. are you familiar? oh, and lots of The Howling Bells.
Have you seen the newest edition of Nylon Guys? I'm suposed to be frugal since I want to go study abroad from six months, but there was The Horrors on the cover and I just couldn't resist The interview is quite well done as well. Alright, alright, I bought it mainly for the pictures and the article about the best hybrid car ever made: [link]
I would love to say that I'm a Portishead expert, but beside from Glory Box being one of my ultimate songs... Well that's pretty much the only one I know! The funny thing is that I have a friend who deeply enjoys their music and it's that thing where you get too lazy to go get one of their album. I should stop this music procrastination at once!
Did some YT research on The Howling Bells and I really like it! What songs do you recommend?
they're perfect!
